Purchasing Buyer

Our company is looking for a Purchasing Buyer to join our dynamic team. The role includes managing procurement for a variety of customers and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management: End-to-end procurement management of multiple parallel projects.

Supplier Relations: Ongoing communication with local and global suppliers and distributors, including negotiating component prices, lead times, and commercial terms.
Order Execution: Issuing purchase orders using the information system, providing quick solutions for delays or inventory shortages to prevent production line downtime.

BOM Analysis: Reviewing and working with a Bill of Materials (BOM), including sourcing suitable alternatives in case of low market availability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Close, daily collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders – Project Managers, Engineering, Planning etc.

Requirements:

Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement – experience at a manufacturing company, subcontracting, or a multi-project environment is a significant advantage.

Computer Systems: Experience working with ERP systems and good mastery of MS Office applications (with an emphasis on Excel).

Languages: Very good English language skills (reading, writing, and conversation) for ongoing work with global suppliers.

Personal Skills: Ability to work in a dynamic environment, strong multitasking abilities, high level of organization, and excellent interpersonal skills.
