The role focuses on managing, planning, and controlling material availability for a variety of projects and customers, in order to ensure a smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Managing and continuously analyzing material requirements in the ERP system based on open customer orders and forecasts.
Clear to Build (CTB): Checking material readiness for production and generating material availability reports.
Shortage Management: Generating and managing shortage reports, working closely on a daily basis with the purchasing department (buyers) to prioritize and expedite critical materials.
Engineering Change Orders (ECO): Handling customer Bill of Materials (BOM) changes, analyzing the impact on existing inventory and open purchase orders, and managing the transition to the new revision.
Requirements:
Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Material Planner, Material Controller, or Purchasing Planner in a manufacturing company. Candidates from subcontracting (EMS) or electronics companies have a significant advantage.
Education: B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Information Systems: Proven and extensive experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
Excel Proficiency: Very high-level proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Operational Understanding: Understanding of supply chain processes and MRP logic.
Languages: Good level of Hebrew and English (reading and writing technical materials and emails).
Personal Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, ability to work under pressure and multitask, and excellent teamwork.
