A leading Contract Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced System Production Support Engineer to serve as the professional authority for engineering support on the production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support: Providing immediate engineering solutions for complex technical issues arising during assembly and testing. Conducting system-level Root Cause Analysis (RCA) (Hardware, Mechanics, and Cabling).
Process Optimization: Analyzing manufacturing failures and leading improvement processes to increase throughput and reduce cycle times.
ECO Implementation: Technically managing the implementation of Engineering Change Orders on the production line, including updating work instructions, adjusting production fixtures, and supporting transitions to new revisions.
Transfer to Production (NPI): Converting customer data packages into executable production files, including building assembly processes, defining tools/jigs, and briefing technical staff.
Engineering Customer Interface: Direct collaboration with customer R&D and engineering departments to resolve ambiguities in drawings or technical specifications.
Requirements:
Education: B.Sc. in Electronics / Mechanical / Systems Engineering – Mandatory.
Experience: 3+ years as a Production Support Engineer, Product Engineer, or System Engineer in an contract manufacturing environment or multidisciplinary manufacturing plant.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PCBA (SMT) processes, complex mechanical Box-Build, and cabling.
Information Systems: Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and high-level Excel proficiency.
Languages: High-level technical English (reading specifications and writing technical reports).
Personal Skills: Ability to make decisions under pressure, proactive mindset (“can-do” attitude), excellent interpersonal skills (interface with production, customers, and purchasing), and strong analytical abilities.
