Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Logistics Center Manager to lead our comprehensive logistical operations. The role involves direct management of a large-scale team (approx. 30 employees) and responsibility for a vast and diverse inventory (tens of thousands of SKUs). You will oversee the internal supply chain—from receiving and smart storage to precise kitting and delivery to the production lines and end customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management: Direct and matrix management of approximately 30 warehouse personnel, forklift operators, and team leaders. Responsible for recruitment, training, scheduling, and fostering a culture of precision and service.
Inventory Control & Accuracy: Total accountability for inventory accuracy. Leading periodic and cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to reduce shrinkage/loss.
Warehouse Process Optimization: Designing and improving operational flows (Inbound/Outbound), managing storage allocation (Slotting), and streamlining picking routes to minimize response times.
Information Systems Management: Overseeing operations within the ERP and WMS (Warehouse Management System). Analyzing data, generating reports, and making data-driven decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Procurement, Planning (PPIC), Production, and Engineering to ensure 100% material availability (“Clear to Build”) and prevent production line shortages.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, maintaining warehouse equipment (forklifts, handheld scanners), and complying with quality standards (ISO, etc.).
Requirements:
Professional Experience: 5-7 years of experience in managing a large-scale warehouse or logistics center (at least 20-30 employees) within a manufacturing or logistics company – Mandatory.
People Management: Proven experience in leading large teams, motivating employees, conflict resolution, and managing under pressure.
Systems Proficiency: Deep knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Priority preferred) and extensive experience with WMS and handheld scanning technology. Strong MS Excel skills.
Operational Insight: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, MRP logic, and kitting processes for production.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration – Significant advantage.
